Changing rooms and baths are separated by gender, and bathers go nude there, with a large hot pool, a smaller whirlpool, a cold plunge around 60°F, a mugwort steam room and a wooden dry sauna. The jjimjilbang rooms and lounges are shared, and everyone wears the cotton shirt and shorts the spa hands out.
There is no time limit once you are inside, but leaving ends the visit. Body scrubs, massages and an herbal hip bath cost extra, and soaking for 20 to 30 minutes before a scrub is advised. Bring a non-glass water bottle and socks for the common areas.
