Bywater runs mobile saunas built in Minnesota, each seating about 16 people, at several Seattle shorelines. You reserve a spot in a 60- or 75-minute session online, and a waitlist opens when sessions fill. Between rounds you can walk into the Sound or simply cool off in the sea air.

Bring your own towels, one to sit on inside and one to dry off. Guests under 18 can come with a parent or guardian if Bywater is told in advance. Memberships are offered for regulars.
