Islandview Sauna Club

Sessions run one hour and must be booked ahead online. Arrive about 15 minutes early to check in, change in the canvas tent and hear the safety talk. The three saunas range from moderate to very hot, and the horse trailer is usually the hottest.

The usual rhythm is about 15 minutes of heat followed by a few minutes in one of the outdoor cold plunges, repeated as often as you like, with breaks by the fire. It feels rustic and sociable, and strangers tend to start talking. Bring a bathing suit, a robe or towel, a seat towel, sandals and a water bottle. Brewery Faisan is across the street.
